These days, Qatari football fans are experiencing an atmosphere of great enthusiasm and anticipation as the decisive stage approaches in our national team’s journey towards qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, as it prepares to play two fateful matches against the Omani and Emirati national teams on October 8 and 14 at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium at Al Sadd Club, within the Asian qualifying round for the World Cup.
The event is not just two matches in the qualifying schedule, but rather represents a turning point on Al Annabi’s path towards a new achievement through which it aspires to repeat its qualification to the World Cup after its historic participation in the last edition, “Qatar 2022”.
Weeks ago, the features of public support began to become strongly evident, as club associations, the Annabi Stadium, and fan associations worked to organize broad encouragement campaigns aimed at mobilizing the largest number of fans behind the national team.
Through the accounts of the Annabi Stadium on social media, an invitation was sent to the Annabi fans to gather after today, Tuesday, in Souq Waqif as part of a huge public event, in preparation for the two upcoming matches under the slogan: “Our stadium is different.”
The Al-Sadd and Al-Rayyan club associations also launched mass initiatives to unite ranks behind Al-Anabi, in addition to organizing events that include distributing flags and shawls and coordinating huge “tifos” that will decorate the stands of Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, so that the scene is festive and reflects the spirit of belonging and national unity.
Qatari clubs, in turn, participate in enhancing public attendance through motivational campaigns for their fans, by providing free buses from club headquarters to the stadium, and contributing to the Qatar Football Association’s campaigns under the slogan “We are all Annabi,” emphasizing that the national team represents the entire country.
For its part, the Qatar Football Association intensified its organizational and media preparations for the success of the two matches, as coordination was made with various parties to ensure the best atmosphere for the fans inside and outside the stadium.
Federation officials confirmed that the Qatari Stadium will be the password in the qualification process, and that the presence and support of the fans is the most important weapon against teams that in turn have enthusiastic fans, such as Oman and the Emirates.
The Federation also launched a wide digital media campaign in cooperation with sports media and social media influencers to spread messages of support and motivation, and encourage fans to attend early and raise flags in the stands.

Two facings with a special Gulf character
The two matches against Oman and the Emirates carry an exceptional Gulf flavor, as the matches of the three teams have always been characterized by excitement and fair competition, which gives the two matches double importance on the technical and public levels.
Al-Anabi enters the two matches aware that the six points will be the key to direct qualification, which makes public support a national demand in this crucial stage of the qualifiers.

The runway is getting ready… and Doha is decorating
Recent days have witnessed great interaction from Qatari fans through hashtags such as:
#We_are_all_Annabi, *#The_World_Dial_Journey*, and *#Anabi_Qadha*, with broad invitations to attend and support.
Annabi Stadium also announced the organization of a distinguished public gathering in Souq Waqif on Tuesday evening, including enthusiastic performances and patriotic chants in preparation for the two matches, in a scene that reflects the great bond between the fans and the national team.
While the technical staff, led by Julen Lopetegui, and the players continue their intensive technical preparations, the public preparations continue at the same pace, so that Doha will be at its best during the two decisive matches.
