The Aspire Sports Excellence Academy today announced the details of the tenth edition of the Aspire Global Football Performance and Science Summit 2024, which it will organize on November 11 and 12, in the Sealine area.
This came in a press conference held in the presence of several Aspire officials and representatives of partners, in addition to local and international media.
The holding of the tenth edition of the Aspire World Summit 2024 coincides with the celebration of the Academy of Sports Excellence’s 20th anniversary of its founding.
The Aspire World Summit 2024 highlights two decades of Aspire Academy’s commitment to sporting excellence and innovative developments in football development, not only in Qatar, but globally. The new edition of the summit also provides a valuable platform for Aspire Fellows members around the world, which includes clubs, federations and leagues from around the world, to communicate and exchange ideas about football development.
Mr. Ali Salem Afifa, Deputy Director General of Aspire Academy and Chairman of the Aspire World Summit 2024, confirmed that the new version of this global summit will be exceptional and in a picturesque Qatari atmosphere in the presence of many international sports stars.
In his speech during the press conference, Afifa pointed out that Qatar achieved a new achievement in the world of football this year by crowning the Qatari football team with the title of Asian Champion (for the second time in a row), a tournament that the State of Qatar hosted last February.
The Chairman of the Aspire World Summit 2024 said: We feel proud that most of the players of the Qatari team that won the continental title are graduates of the Aspire Academy, which reflects the distinguished efforts made by the Academy with partners, adding that “Our goal is to promote and develop international football, which is what prompted us to establish a community.” “Aspire Colleagues Around the World” to exchange new experiences and innovations among its members.

The summit’s agenda includes the participation of a prominent group of distinguished guests who will showcase their experiences, led by the former coach of the Aspire Academy, Francesco Farioli, who is currently coaching the Dutch team Ajax Amsterdam. Italian basketball coach Sergio Scariolo, who led Spain to achieve the World Cup title and four European Basketball Championships (EuroBasket), will participate in the summit sessions.
It is worth noting that the Aspire Global Summit was launched in 2014, and the first edition was in the French capital, Paris, while the Italian capital, Rome, hosted last year’s edition in the Stadio Olimpico.
