Announcing the schedule of matches for the Arab Clubs Volleyball Championship in Doha

The Arab Volleyball Federation announced today the schedule of matches for the 43rd edition of the Arab Club Championship for Men, hosted by Qatar Club under the umbrella of the Qatar Volleyball Federation, during the period from January 13 to 26.

The tournament will officially open on January 16 with three matches, bringing together Al-Salam of Oman with Baniyas of the Emirates, Al-Jazeera of the Emirates with Burgan of Kuwait, and Qatar of Qatar with Gaza of Palestine. Four matches will be held on the second day, bringing together Al-Shorta of Qatar with Erbil of Iraq, Al-Seeb of Oman with Zamalek of Egypt, and Al-Kuwait of Kuwait with Al-Hilal. Al-Libyan, and Dar Kulaib Al-Bahraini with Al-Ahly of Egypt.

The group stage matches in the tournament will continue until next January 20, with the quarter-finals and position-determination matches being played on the 22nd, and on the 24th the semi-finals and position-determination matches will be held.

The tournament matches are scheduled to conclude on the 25th with a final confrontation and the determination of places from third to eighth.

The draw for the tournament, which was drawn via video communication technology, resulted in the Qatar Club and Police teams, representing Qatar in the tournament, falling into the third and fourth groups of the tournament, with the participation of (15) teams representing (10) Arab countries.

The first group included the teams of Al-Suwaihli of Libya, Al-Salam of Oman, and Baniyas of the Emirates, while the second group included Al-Seeb of Oman, Al-Kuwait of Kuwait, Al-Hilal of Libya and Zamalek of Egypt. The third group included the Iraqi teams Erbil, Bahrain’s Darklieb, the Egyptian Al-Ahly, and Qatar’s Al-Shorta, while the fourth group included the Palestinian teams of Gaza, Kuwait’s Burgan, Qatar’s Qatar, and the UAE’s Al-Jazeera.
