The American company Apple announced its intention to launch an developed version of its voice assistant “Siri” in the spring of 2026, after the postponement of its launch for several months on the previously announced date. The company stated, in a statement, that the new version will depend on the “App Intents” feature, which enables “Siri” to carry out more complex tasks within the applications, such as commenting on Instagram publications, adding elements to the shopping basket in purchase applications, or modifying a specific image and sending them directly.
She pointed out that she tests the feature in its own applications, in addition to external applications such as Amazon, Facebook, Uber, YouTube, WhatsApp, Timo and Infers, with the possibility of imposing restrictions or excluding some applications that deal with sensitive data such as banking applications.
Apple has offered the developed version of “Serie”, which depends on artificial intelligence during the WWDC 2024 conference within the technologies of “Apple Intelligence”.
