Apple intends to launch a smart robot that works as a virtual assistant by 2027, in a move aimed at providing a new interactive experience that goes beyond what the iPhone or iPad currently offers. According to Bloomberg, the new device will take the shape of a desktop robot equipped with a 7 -inch screen, similar to iPad, rotating and expanding up to 6 inches in all directions, allowing automatically re -positioning to face the user while talking.
The robot is expected to work through an advanced version of the Siri voice assistant, supported by artificial intelligence technologies, capable of preserving information, making natural conversations, and participating in discussions, such as restaurants proposal, organizing trips, or planning daily tasks, similar to the conversation experience in the Openai platform.
The device will also support the “FaceTime” calls with a feature similar to the feature of staying in the center “Center Stage” to follow the movement of people in the room, and the ability to control the screen position.
Although the project is still in the initial models stage, and there is no final decision on the design or the date of the offering, but “Apple” aims to launch it by 2027.
In parallel, Apple has evolved as another model of a wheel wheel and a large automatic arm for industrial or commercial tasks, as part of expanding its scope in robots and artificial intelligence technologies.
