The Executive Committee of the Qatar Football Association, during its meeting today headed by His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Association, agreed to accept the resignation of Mr. Khalid Abdullah Al Sulaiti, and to appoint His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Saud Al Thani as a member of the committee, to complete the current session of the Board of Directors until 2027.
The committee expressed its thanks and appreciation to Mr. Khaled Al-Sulaiti for the efforts he made during his work period, wishing him success in his future career.
The decision to appoint Sheikh Ali bin Saud Al Thani was based on the nomination of the Executive Committee, in accordance with the procedures and regulations stipulated in the Federation’s statute, and the decision will be presented for approval during the next General Assembly meeting.
