The Arbitration Department of the Qatar Football Association made illustrative videos of the arbitration cases witnessed by the 16th round of the Ooredoo Stars League, which was held on Saturday and Sunday, 22 and 23 February, for the sports season 2024/2025.
This is in the interest of the federation’s arbitration administration to implement the principle of transparency and enlighten the sports public opinion with the correct information about the arbitration cases witnessed by each of the league matches.
The cases in the 16th round were cases of errors within the penalty area, cases of competition, cases of infiltration and cases of hand touch, as they were presented through a complete explanation of the decisions taken, their causes and their validity, and among the most prominent cases is to cancel the dam’s goal in Al -Duhail goal in the 50th minute From the age of the match, due to the Al -Sadd striker to Al -Duhail defender before the ball reached his teammate, who scored the goal.
The Arbitration Department also confirmed the validity of the decision of the Al -Arabi and Al -Ahly match in calculating two penalty kicks for Al -Ahly in the 11th and 77th minute, and another for Al -Ahly in the 90+1 minute.
It was also confirmed that the Duhail Ibrahim Qadir player was expelled in the Al -Sadd match, and the validity of the expulsion of Suhaib Jinan, the Al -Wakra player in his team’s match against Al -Rayyan.
