The third round of the Qatar Equestrian Tour Championship – Longines Hadhab in its eighth edition, organized by the Qatar Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon Federation in partnership with Al Shaqab, began yesterday, over 14 rounds. The competitions, which were held on the indoor field of the Equestrian Federation, witnessed strong competition in the small and medium rounds for individuals and teams, where the small rounds witnessed the participation of 70 male and female knights, while the intermediate witnessed competition between 31 male and female horsemen.
In the junior round competitions under 18 years of age at a height of 110 cm, the first place was won by the jockey Fahd bin Jassim Al Thani with the horse “Sira”, and the jockey Ibrahim Khaled Al Kuwari with his horse “Flexi” came in second, and the jockey Abdullah Khaled Al-Jalandani with the horse “Armageddon” came in third.
In the small round competitions held at a height of 110 cm, the jockey Ghanem Nasser Al-Qadi won first place with his horse “Chanel,” while the jockey Hamad Tuwaim Al-Marri came in second place on his horse “Vamos,” and the jockey Saif Mohammed Al-Naimi came third with his horse “Sydney.” .
The winners were crowned by Ms. Haya Al Nuaimi, Head of the Technical Support Committee in the tournament.
The competitions continue today with two rounds for future riders for the first and second levels at a height of 60 cm and 80 cm, respectively, followed by the amateur round, at a height of 100 cm. The round will conclude tomorrow, Saturday, with dressage competitions for the first and second levels, followed by the open round at a height of 120 cm and ending with the grand round. At a height of 145 cm.
