Qatar Tourism has renewed its call to all companies operating in the tourism sector, individuals, operators, entrepreneurs, tourist attractions, institutions, events and individuals, to apply and nominate for the “Qatar Tourism Awards 2024” in all its available categories, until August 8, to honor the most prominent contributions and efforts made by partners in the tourism sector in the State of Qatar.
This year’s 2024 edition of the Qatar Tourism Awards focuses on the country’s strategic vision for sustainable development and enhancing the presence of national heritage and cultural legacy, as well as highlighting the fruitful cooperation between the public and private sectors in promoting diverse tourism offerings outside the hospitality sector. Through this program, Qatar Tourism seeks to enhance standards of excellence and motivate all components of the sector to take the initiative and show a spirit of innovation and competition in order to achieve leadership, which ultimately leads to improving the quality of tourism services and experiences and enhances the level of competitiveness and seriousness among all partners in the tourism sector.
All tourism companies and individuals are eligible to apply for the award. The seven main categories of the award include excellence in service, gastronomic experiences, distinctive attractions and activities, world-class events, digital footprint, smart and sustainable tourism, and community leadership. Applicants are required to answer the required questions and attach supporting documents.
