Burgundy Beach Hand continues its preparations for America

Our national beach handball team is putting the final touches in preparation for the World Championship competitions that will be held on the Chinese island of Pingtan during the period from 18 to 23 June of this year. Our team arrived at its residence on the island of Pingtan and played a number of friendly matches in order to determine the latest preparations for the kick-off. In the World Championship the day after tomorrow against the American team in search of a strong start in the tournament, then Al-Anabi will play its second match against the Uruguayan team next Wednesday, before facing the German team in its third match on the same day.
The team in the tournament is led by the technical staff led by coach Khaled Hassan and is looking forward to achieving a new achievement, as Al-Anabi has succeeded in achieving many achievements in the game over the past years,
The technical staff chose ten players to defend the reputation of our beach club in the tournament, as the list included: Mohsen Al-Yafei, Osama Al-Toumi, Mohamed Zaki, Zarkoa Markovic, Hani Kakhi, Amir Denguer, Ali Ahmed, Abdel-Razzaq Murad, Mahmoud Hasballah, and Sayed Qenawi.
Al-Anabi is competing in the tournament in the fourth group, which includes alongside him the teams of Germany, Uruguay, and the United States of America, while the first group includes Australia, Oman, Denmark, and Hungary, and the second group includes Tunisia, Spain, China, and Brazil, while the third group includes Puerto Rico, Portugal, Argentina, and Croatia.
Al-Annabi is competing in the World Championship for the seventh time in a row after participating in the Turkey 2010 edition, in which he achieved tenth place, the 2012 Oman edition, in which he achieved seventh place, the 2014 Brazil edition, in which he achieved a historic achievement by obtaining third place, and the 2016 Hungary edition, in which he also achieved third place. The 2018 edition in Russia, where he finished ninth, and the last edition in Greece 2022, where he finished fifth.
It is worth noting that the most prominent achievements of our team were being crowned champion of the 2023 Beach Handball World Tour, obtaining a silver medal in the 11th World Games held in the American city of Birmingham in 2022, and obtaining third place twice in the 2014 World Championship in Brazil and 2016 in Hungary, and winning the title He won the Asian Championship six times in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2023. He also won the gold medal in the Asian Beach Games in 2012, 2014, and 2016, in addition to winning the gold medal in the 2nd Gulf Beach Games in Doha in 2015.
