The General Authority of Civil Aviation in Qatar announced the closure of a number of violating travel and air cargo offices, as part of its ongoing inspection campaigns on the sector, with the aim of verifying the extent of the offices’ compliance with the approved rules and regulations.
The campaigns, which were implemented by the Authority’s Air Transport Department, resulted in the administrative closure of two travel and air cargo offices, in addition to the cancellation of 10 other offices proven to be in violation.
The Authority confirmed its continued intensification of oversight of the sector, calling on all offices operating in the fields of travel and air cargo to fully adhere to the regulations, and not to engage in any activity in this field except after obtaining the necessary licenses from the competent administration, in accordance with the provisions of Article (3) of Law No. (3) of 2025 regulating travel and air cargo offices in the country.
