The General Authority of Civil Aviation participated in the seminars accompanying the sixteenth session of the International Exhibition for Homeland Security and Safety, “Milipol Qatar 2026”.
The Authority was represented by Mr. Thamer Abdullah Mashhadi, Head of the Information Security Section from the Information Systems Department, as a speaker in a joint dialogue session with the Information Security Department at the National Cybersecurity Agency, entitled “Cyber Readiness and National Security.”
This participation comes within the framework of exchanging experiences in the field of cybersecurity, and highlighting the importance of enhancing readiness to confront cyber challenges, thus contributing to supporting the national efforts of the State of Qatar in this field.
The activities of the third and final day of the Milipol Qatar 2026 exhibition and conference stressed the need to enhance integration between cybersecurity and institutional operations, and develop mechanisms for risk management and response to digital threats, to ensure the continuity of vital services.
