Al Mayeda team won the 2024 Furjan Qatar Cup, organized by Aspire Zone Foundation, after defeating Al Gharafa team with a score of (1-0) in the final match of the competition. After the end of the match, the tournament organizing committee crowned Al-Mayeda with the cup, which is considered the second major tournament after the Qatar Furjan League championship within the Furjan season. Al-Mayda’s victory came to compensate for its loss of the league title by one point from the Umm Salal team, which will face Al-Mayda again for the Super Cup title, which is played between the league and cup champions. Mr. Nasser Salem Al Mana, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Qatar Furjan League and the accompanying competitions, praised the success achieved by the tournament and the ideal atmosphere witnessed by the competition, wishing to achieve more successes in the coming seasons.
