The National Cybersecurity Agency, represented by the National Cybersecurity Academy, organized an awareness workshop on cybersecurity and digital safety in cooperation with the University of Arkansas in Qatar, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance cyber awareness in academic institutions.
The workshop covered a set of basic topics, most notably the types of cyberattacks and ways to prevent them, the basics of protecting data and electronic devices, as well as guidelines for safe browsing online, with the aim of enabling students to adopt safe and responsible digital practices.
In another context, the National Cybersecurity Agency participated in the 2025 career fair organized by Doha University of Science and Technology, with the participation of more than 95 entities from various vital sectors in the country.
The agency’s participation came within the framework of its efforts to introduce students and job seekers to promising professional opportunities in the field of cybersecurity, and to attract young national talents to contribute to strengthening the digital security system in Qatar, in addition to raising awareness of the importance of cybersecurity as one of the strategic areas supporting digital transformation and sustainable national development.
