Development of the first human site on the surface of the moon

The Italian Space Agency and the French company Talis Alia Space announced the signing of a contract to develop the first human residence site on the moon, as part of the “Artemis” program, a joint project between the French company and the Italian company Leonardo.
In a statement, Thales Alienia stated that it will provide a safe, comfortable and multi -functional housing unit for astronauts, and is fully compatible with other systems and components.
The company said that «the multi -purpose housing model, which is an essential element to achieve a permanent human presence on the surface of the moon, will be launched from the Canadian Space Center of the American Aviation and Space Administration (NASA) in 2033, and it will have a shelf life of at least ten years.
She explained that the unit will be used to conduct scientific experiments and test the extent of livelihood on the surface of the moon, and may pave the way for future tasks on Mars.
Artemis is one of NASA’s programs and aims to send astronauts to the moon, in a move aimed at building a sustainable human presence on it.
The program, which is led by the United States, is a huge project of billions of dollars, and includes dozens of private companies and countries that lead the emerging global space race, and the moon within it as a test of future missions towards Mars is seen.
