Al-Arabi Club issued a statement in response to the statements made by Al-Kas satellite channel commentator, Khalil Al-Balushi, during his commentary on the first team’s football match against Al-Duhail Club in the tenth round of the Arid League. In his statements, the commentator addressed allegations that there were “three parties” disputing within the club, which led to a deterioration in the technical level and the loss of matches.
At the beginning of the statement, the club’s management expressed its regret to Al-Arabi fans for the mediocre performance in recent matches, and explained that this was due to multiple challenges, most notably the injuries that affected the most important members of the team. The administration confirmed that it is working hard to address the situation and return the team to its usual level.
The administration categorically denied the validity of what was stated by the commentator, stressing that these allegations lack accuracy and credibility, and confirming that there are no “parties” within the club. She pointed out that everyone is working together and out of concern for the interest of the club, citing the positive atmosphere witnessed by the last general assembly, which was full of the spirit of consultation and consensus, which reflects the unity of ranks within the entity.
The club’s management explained that the commentator’s statements aroused its dissatisfaction and the dissatisfaction of the fans, and also caused concern among the club’s fans and former symbols, who demanded clarification of the situation. Although the administration understood the commentator’s intention to express his love for the club, it stressed that such statements do not serve stability, but rather contribute to fueling strife.
The statement stressed that the Arab Club, thanks to the solidarity of all its members, including management and fans, has achieved many notable achievements, including winning more than 35 championships in various games, in addition to the Excellence Shield. The management stressed that such successes would not have been achieved without the support and cooperation of everyone within the club.
The club’s management affirmed its categorical rejection of these allegations, which lack any objective support, and assures the club’s fans that it will not hesitate to take all necessary measures to protect the club’s unity and reputation.
