Discussing the cases of the past rounds of our league.. The Arbitration Department holds its analytical meeting

The Referees Department of the Football Association held its regular technical and analytical meeting yesterday evening, Thursday, at the Al-Sha’la Hotel, headed by Hani Taleb Ballan, Chairman of the Referees Committee of the Football Association, Jassim Mohammed Al-Hail – Vice Chairman of the Referees Committee – and Valentin Ivanov, the technical expert of the Referees Department, members of the committee, technical experts, referee evaluators and elite referees. The Swiss Massimo Busacca, Executive Director of the Referees Department of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), participated in the analytical meeting via video technology, to analyze the second and third rounds of the Ooredoo Stars League competition, and to discuss the fourth round that starts this evening, Friday.
During the meeting, a comprehensive review and accurate analysis of the referees’ performance and their technical and physical performance during the matches of the second and third rounds of the Ooredoo Stars League for the current sports season 2024/2025 was conducted.
The meeting began with welcoming the Japanese referee (Hiroki Kasahara) who will participate in managing the matches of the fourth and fifth rounds, as he will manage the Al Arabi and Al Khor match in this round, which will be held on Saturday evening at Al Thumama Stadium, within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Qatar Football Association and the Japanese Football Association.
For his part, Japanese referee Hiroki expressed his happiness to be in Doha and participate in managing the Ooredoo Stars League matches, wishing all referees success in managing the matches of the round and appearing well.
The meeting discussed many of the arbitration cases that took place in the previous rounds of the league, and the decisions that were taken in these cases, analyzing them with great precision and explaining them to the referees so that they are completely clear.
In conclusion, Hani Taleb Ballan, head of the referees committee, praised the level of the referees in the past three rounds of our league, calling on them to work harder, diligently and focus more to always provide a distinguished performance throughout the season.
