Dukhan Bank obtains prestigious international accreditation in “Information Security”

Dukhan Bank announced that it has obtained the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (DSS) certificate, version 4.0, and the accreditation certificate from the International Standards Organization (ISO) 27001 (ISO/IEC) in the information security management system, as an important achievement that reflects the bank’s commitment to the highest levels of data security and compliance with regulations. And the international standards in force in this field, and confirmation of its leadership position in the banking services sector.
Dukhan Bank has been certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Version 4.0 by Network Intelligence Pvt. Ltd., which is a global security standard that includes strict requirements to protect sensitive information for credit and debit cards, which confirms its continuous endeavors to adopt the highest security measures when processing, storing and sending credit and debit card data. Thus, Dukhan Bank is currently one of the few banks in Qatar to obtain this global accreditation, giving its customers greater security in all their transactions, and enhancing its ability to protect their data from all potential security threats via the Internet.
Dukhan Bank also obtained the international accreditation certificate (ISO) 27001 (IEC) for the information security management system from Shamkris Global, in recognition of its comprehensive system and strict approach to information security management, especially since this accreditation covers several aspects of the system’s operational processes and information security procedures. This ensures the confidentiality and safety of sensitive information assets.
On the other hand, both certifications give Dukhan Bank and its customers many advantages, as they work to increase its operational efficiency and competitiveness, and also ensure strict compliance with financial systems, in line with Qatar Central Bank directives and security standards for payment card systems, which reduces the possibility of data breaches. And the costs and risks associated with it.
