English club Arsenal announced today the loan of its Estonian international goalkeeper Karl Hein to Spanish club Valladolid, on a one-season loan.
Heine, 22, joined Arsenal in 2018 from his hometown club Nome United, signing his first professional contract with the London club in May 2019 and signing a new long-term deal shortly before joining Reading on loan in January 2022 for the remainder of the season.
The Estonian goalkeeper made his first-team debut for Arsenal in September 2022, in a Carabao Cup third-round match against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Hein recently played in all three of Arsenal’s pre-season matches in the United States, against Bournemouth, Manchester United and Liverpool, and has made 30 appearances for his country.
