Qatar Islamic Bank (Bank) announced the conclusion of a partnership with Visa, the world leader in the field of digital payments, to become the first bank in Qatar and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to provide its customers with CKKK to Pay customers using biometric authentication, which enhances its pioneering position in the field of digital payments.
The Click to Pay service simplifies the online payment by allowing the VISA card holders to register once and use a unique identifier, such as email or phone number, to complete transactions with participating merchants. By integrating with Visa Payment Passkey, the biometric authentication solution, which eliminates the need to enter the card details or passwords for one OTP manually. VISA card holders from the bank can register for the Click to Pay service immediately through the bank’s mobile application to take advantage of a faster and safer digital payment experience across all the devices connected to the Internet.
Visa Payment Passkey, based on fido authentication criteria, provides a safe and comfortable way to confirm the identity using a fingerprint or face recognition, which reduces online fraud and easy to pay.
