The Qatar Free Zones Authority announced that it received the Best Construction Project of the Year award from the MEED Project Quality Awards for the year 2024, for the regional distribution centers in the Ras Bufontas Free Zone. This prestigious achievement confirms the authority’s commitment to providing world-class infrastructure, in addition to its influential role in encouraging international investments and supporting economic growth.
The establishment of regional distribution centers in Ras Bufontas Free Zone came in line with the ambitious vision of the Qatar Free Zones Authority, which is to build advanced facilities equipped with the latest equipment to keep pace with future needs in a wide range of growing sectors. These centers are also consistent with the Qatar National Vision 2030, as they are designed according to the highest international standards, and contribute to strengthening the position of free zones in Qatar as a leading global destination for doing business and incubating investments.
The MEED Project Quality Awards ceremony was held in Dubai, and this event focused on honoring the best projects in the field of construction and infrastructure development in the Middle East and North Africa region.
