The media committee for the Gulf Cup Football Championship “Gulf 27” reviewed the latest preparations for the tournament hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the period from the twenty-third of September to the sixth of next October, with the participation of eight Gulf teams.
During its second meeting, which was held via video communication technology under the chairmanship of Mr. Khalid Mubarak Al Kuwari, Chairman of the Committee, the committee discussed the latest developments in the tournament’s media work and a number of media plans and programmes. It was agreed to organize a workshop for the media coordinators of the participating teams next month, in addition to organizing three workshops for workers in the local media committee, dealing with media operations, managing press conferences and photography.
The meeting covered a report on the developments in the media work for the tournament, and what was accomplished during the last period, in addition to discussing the next steps, and taking a number of relevant decisions, which contribute to enhancing the readiness of the media system for the tournament.
