Gulf Air has announced the launch of direct flights to Munich, Germany, on July 1, in a move that further strengthens its drive to develop its European network and connect Bahrain to key destinations around the world.
The company stated that these new flights, which are operated by modern Airbus 321neo aircraft, will provide comfortable and flexible travel options between Bahrain International Airport and Munich International Airport on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, ensuring a smooth travel experience that meets the needs of travelers. The four weekly flights will depart from Bahrain at 1:30 am (local time), while the return flight from Munich Airport will depart at 11:25 am (local time).
On this occasion, a Gulf Air spokesperson confirmed that the launch of the Munich route is a pivotal step in Gulf Air’s expansion strategy, as it connects the Kingdom of Bahrain to a capital city that is considered a sophisticated business and leisure hub in the heart of Europe. This new route embodies the airline’s commitment to connecting Bahrain to key global markets, contributing to the growth of tourism and commercial activities in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
Munich is Gulf Air’s second destination in the German market, alongside the current daily flights to Frankfurt, as part of the airline’s strategic expansion in the European continent and confirms its commitment to providing an exceptional travel experience and a growing network of destinations.
