Gulf Air announced the launch of its new seasonal flights to the Greek island of Rhodes. The carrier’s flight was welcomed with a traditional water salute in addition to a number of other celebratory events to welcome its arrival to Rhodes International Airport.
The company stated that it will operate its flights from Bahrain International Airport to Rhodes International Airport via Mykonos, with two flights per week on Thursdays and Saturdays, starting from June 1 until September 28, 2024, using its Airbus 320neo aircraft.
On this occasion, a spokesman for Gulf Air confirmed that adding the city of Rhodes to its list of scheduled and tourist destinations for this season, from Bahrain to Greece, comes within the framework of the carrier’s strategic vision, which aims to strengthen its network and give travelers wider options for their trips to the most famous tourist destinations on the European continent, such as Rhodes. He explained that Rhodes is Gulf Air’s third destination in Greece, in addition to its scheduled flights to Athens and its seasonal flights to Mykonos that were launched on June 1, adding that this step embodies Gulf Air’s keenness to provide high-quality services and a distinct travel experience to its passengers to more than From 60 destinations, via Bahrain International Airport.
