Hamad Airport confirms its readiness to receive returning passengers

Hamad International Airport continues to intensify its preparations to receive travelers returning to Doha, with the end of the Eid al-Adha holiday and the Hajj season approaching, and the return of citizens and residents to the State of Qatar.
As part of its keenness to provide a smooth and comfortable arrival experience, Hamad International Airport recommended that eligible passengers, including families accompanied by children whose height exceeds 130 cm, use the electronic gates in the immigration hall to benefit from the speed of processing procedures. Passengers carrying large or irregularly shaped luggage, including wheelchairs, strollers and Zamzam water bottles, were also advised that this luggage would be delivered separately via designated belts.
It is also recommended to put breakable luggage in hard luggage. Before leaving the baggage claim area, you must ensure that the name on the baggage tag matches to ensure you receive the correct bag. He pointed out that you should visit the baggage services office in the arrivals hall when you need assistance.

Transportation options
Hamad International Airport provides a range of transportation options linking the airport to various areas of Doha. Bus and taxi stops are located on both sides of the arrivals hall.
Transportation services are also available via electronic applications, including Uber, Pedro, and Ride, from the designated passenger loading point inside the parking lots.
Doha Metro Station is also located a short walking distance inside the airport building, providing direct connectivity to the most prominent destinations in Doha. It is recommended to visit the Doha Metro website to view operating schedules and service times.
Car rental, limousine, and valet services are available, with the possibility of benefiting from the valet parking service near the arrivals and departures halls.

Receiving passengers
Hamad International Airport also recommended using the parking lots to receive travelers, and avoiding leaving vehicles unaccompanied next to the sidewalks of the passenger terminal in order to avoid crowding, as this may result in taking the necessary measures, including towing the vehicle.
He welcomed returning citizens and residents, as airport staff are available around the clock to provide assistance.
Last year, Hamad International Airport succeeded in retaining the title of “Best Airport in the Middle East” for the eleventh year in a row, within the “Skytrax” World Airport Awards 2025. The airport also won the title of “Best Airport for Shopping” in the world for the third year in a row, and was classified as the second best airport in the world overall.
