Hamad Port connects Qatar to 100 maritime destinations around the world

Mwani Qatar revealed that the shipping lines network at Hamad Port connects the State of Qatar to global markets, providing direct and indirect shipping services to more than 100 maritime destinations around the world.
The company stated that this large network of various international shipping companies provides fast and reliable transportation and logistics services to customers, and contributes to strengthening trade ties between Qatar and the outside world.
Hamad Port, whose operations are managed by QTerminals Group, is classified as one of the largest ports in the Middle East with a capacity of 7.5 million standard containers annually, and is one of the most important long-term projects that embody Qatar National Vision 2030, which is a tributary to social, economic, environmental and human development in Qatar.
The port not only offers significant capacity in the form of three container terminals, but also offers a new range of services and capabilities for specific sectors. In addition to general cargo, the port handles a variety of different imports including livestock, vehicles and bulk grains. It also includes a terminal for coastal security vessels and a marine support and backup terminal.
Hamad Port has indeed been able to bring about a qualitative transformation in diversifying the Qatari economy and enhancing competitiveness through its role in securing the import and re-export of goods and merchandise.
In a related context, QTerminals announced that the number of basic working hours without accidents or lost time at Hamad Port reached 2 million, 519 thousand, and 405 hours, by the end of last July, while the total number of working hours since the beginning of the year until now reached 3 million, 169 thousand, and 831 hours.
The company stated in a post on its official account on the “X” platform that the total number of working hours in July amounted to 462,675 hours, while the total rate of reported injuries amounted to 2.16.
