Many obstacles stand in the way of the desire of Abdulkarim Hassan, the former player of Al-Sadd Club and currently the Iranian Persepolis Club, who shone strongly in the Iranian League and achieved the league title with his club for the sixth time in the past seven years. The player became subject to suspension after signing a two-season contract with Al-Wakrah Club, while his contract with the Iranian Persepolis Club is still valid.
Persepolis Iranian club rejected the offer of Al Arabi club that Abdul Karim wants to join and agreed on how to obtain the Iranian waiver, as Abdul Karim has one full season left on his contract with Persepolis. For its part, the Iranian club is studying the request of Al Wakra club, which also submitted an official letter requesting to sign the player and not to object to paying the penalty clause according to the contract between Abdul Karim and his Iranian club.
According to informed sources, Abdulkarim Hassan had signed a two-year contract with Al-Wakrah Club before traveling to Iran to terminate his contract with his club by mutual consent, but he preferred to move to Al-Arabi Club instead of Al-Wakrah, which could lead to his suspension if Al-Wakrah submits the contract to the relevant authorities in the Qatar Football Association. According to the same contract, Abdulkarim Hassan is indebted to Al-Wakrah Club because the signing was made without the knowledge and approval of the Iranian Persepolis Club. Hence, Abdulkarim Hassan’s problem has become big and could threaten his career in the new season.
