Today, the Idaid Women’s Basketball Team will leave for the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, in preparation for participating in the second edition of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Basketball Academy for Women, scheduled during the period from 24 to 27 September.
The Qatari team, under the name “Al -Adas”, participates in competitions that include four Gulf teams, which are the Women Cultural Club from the Sultanate of Oman, the gym from Kuwait, and the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy for Women Sports from the Emirates, along with the support team.
The mission includes: Lebanese coach Rana Bazzo, fitness coach Milis Shadid, physiotherapist Maha Al -Raqi, and the team manager, Saria Ranko, in addition to the players: Alaa Suleiman, Maya Al -Khatib, Naziha Aga, Sama Jasser, Sarah Mazid, Tania Al -Tawil, Mona Suleiman, Dana Suleiman, in addition to the Lebanese professional Rebecca Aqel, and the American Tina Stevens.
