Our national wrestling team left the Croatian capital, Zagreb, to participate in the World Wrestling Championship, which will be held until September 22, with the participation of a group of game champions worldwide. The support delegation is headed by Mr. Abdullah Hamad Al -Masifri, Assistant Secretary of the Qatar Wrestling Federation, while the delegation includes a group of the most prominent players of the national team in Roman wrestling, leading them:
• Shaheen Mohamed: Our brilliant and bronze champion of Asia early this year in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Aref Muhammadi (63 kg).
• Saud Al -Muqaaei (77 kg).
• Rafiq Al -Natsheh (72 kg).
The technical staff is led by the veteran Iranian coach, Malak Ali, along with his Armenian assistant Kazrian, as the team ended its preparations with internal and external camps in preparation for this global participation.
The support team hopes that its players will make strong offers and achieve distinguished results that reflect the development of the game in Qatar, and enhance the status of Qatari wrestling on the international scene.
