I want: the launch of “Doha IX” is the first safe platform for Internet exchange

“I want”, in partnership with De-CIX, the pioneering global operator of neutral internet exchanging points, announced the official launch of the DOHA IX platform supported by De-CIX, the first independent internet exchange point in Qatar.
This initiative, which is based on the extensive global experience of DE-Cix, which extends over 60 sites around the world, enhance Qatar as a regional digital center, by improving communication, reducing costs, and providing advanced digital experiences to customers.
DOHA IX will provide a neutral and safe platform for Internet service providers and network operators, facilitating the exchange of internet at low delay rates, improving network performance, and supports distance conjugation services. In Qatar and the region, companies in Qatar and the region will be able to effectively effectively access to global and regional content providers, in addition to simplifying the connection via one access point, while reducing the costs of crossing data via the traditional internet protocol significantly.
The DOHA IX platform relies on the advanced DE-CIX connection technology and the advanced infrastructure of the Data Centers of the “I want”, in addition to their strong relationships with content providers and international networks. These factors include providing a smooth and reliable communication experience, which reduces delay rates, improves network performance, and contributes to building a strong digital system in Qatar.
