Qatar Chamber and the Young Entrepreneurs Club of the Ministry of Sports and Youth announced the organization of the “Young Entrepreneurs Media Forum” on November 15 and 16.

Mr. Ali Busherbak Al-Mansouri, Acting Director General of the Qatar Chamber, said in a press conference held today that the forum aims to enhance the role of young entrepreneurs in the field of media, and aims to provide an interactive platform that brings together creative youth, investors and experts in this field, stressing the Qatar Chamber’s support for Empowerment efforts. Young people and creating the space for them to unleash their ideas and creativity.

He also pointed out that the forum will enable young entrepreneurs to acquire knowledge and learn about successful experiences in the media field, in addition to communicating with their counterparts and those who came before them with experience, through discussion sessions and lessons from successful startup companies, and sharing the experiences of entrepreneurs in the media field. The opportunity will be available for participants to communicate among themselves and exchange experiences, expressing his hope that the forum will lead to creating an environment that supports innovation and enhances the spirit of cooperation among young people, and that it will come up with recommendations that contribute to enhancing the role of young entrepreneurs in the national economy in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.

For his part, Dr. Ibrahim Khaled Al-Sulaiti, Chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs Club, said that more than 40 companies and partners specialized in the field of media will participate in the forum, and that its main goal is to enable young people to lead change in the media sector, and to provide them with the tools and opportunities necessary for growth and innovation.

He pointed out that the forum reflects the commitment to supporting the next generation of young entrepreneurs in the media sector by providing an interactive environment that combines expertise and live experiences, which contributes to strengthening the media scene in Qatar and developing it in line with our national ambitions, stressing the importance of highlighting Qatari entrepreneurs in the field. This is a vital field, especially since Qatari youth have enormous potential and creative energies capable of making a significant impact in the media industry.

Al-Sulaiti explained that during this forum, Qatari success stories in this field will be highlighted, and their owners will be supported to become role models in entrepreneurship and media at the local and international levels.

On the sidelines of the press conference, a sponsorship agreement was signed between the Young Entrepreneurs Club, the organizer of the forum, the Hub Business Center, and Contactless Company.
