The General Assembly of Al-Ahly Club elected Hassan Youssef Al-Mulla as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club and Abdullah Jassim Al-Ishaq as Vice-Chairman for the next session 2024-2028, by acclamation after the victory of the only candidate list to take over the management of the club for the next four years.
Hassan Yousef Al Mulla won the position of President and Abdullah Jassim Al Ishaq won the position of Vice President in the regular general assembly held yesterday at the club, in the presence of 38 members out of 49 who were entitled to vote, in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
The General Assembly witnessed a distinguished Ahly presence from the founding members and active members, led by His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Thani, the honorary president of the club, in addition to the club’s Board of Directors for the previous session, headed by Abdullah Yousef Al Mulla and his deputy, Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Mustafawi Al Hashemi.
The General Assembly approved the minutes of the previous meeting for the 2023-2024 season and listened to the report of the club president, Mr. Abdullah Youssef Al-Mulla, on the club’s work for the year ending last May, in which he reviewed the club’s successes in various sports and the effort made by the club’s management to achieve success, wishing success to the new board of directors to raise the club.
The General Assembly unanimously approved the work programs and plans for the new year 2024-2025. The members also agreed to form the Membership Affairs Committee, consisting of: Yousef Kanoo, Abdulrahman Al-Hajri, Jassim Al-Nusairi, Ibrahim Obaid Al-Siddiqi, and Khaled Rashid Al-Marri, in addition to three reserve members: Hamad Al-Hammadi, Omar Subair Al-Qashami, and Nasser Abdullah Faridoun.
On the other hand, the members of the General Assembly expressed their complete satisfaction with the work being done at the club for the next stage, referring to the success of the football team at the beginning of the 2024-2025 sports season, hoping that the next stage of the work of the new Board of Directors will witness more successes.
