Al-Gharafa, Al-Arabi and Al-Sadd teams had reserved their seats in the golden square, as Al-Gharafa qualified after defeating its counterpart, Qatar Club, with a score of (98-72), in the preliminary round, waiting for the winner of the Al-Shamal and Al-Ahly match to face it in the semi-final scheduled to be held next Saturday, while Al Arabi qualified after defeating Al Rayyan with a score of (84-65), while Al Sadd advanced after defeating Al Wakrah with a score of (103-93).
Al-Arabi, the defending champion, is scheduled to face its counterpart, Al-Sadd, in the semi-finals next Saturday evening as well.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Arabi team won the Qatar Cup title last season after defeating Al-Ahly with a score of (80-73) in the final match.
Al-Gharafa holds the record for the number of times it has won the tournament, which was launched for the first time in 2014, with 4 titles in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2021, compared to three titles for Al-Arabi in 2019, 2022 and 2024, and one title for Al-Rayyan in 2016, Qatar in 2018, and Al-Wakrah in 2020.
