Saudi Arabia will host the twenty -seventh edition of the Gulf Cooperation Council for men for men and the sixteenth edition of youth, which was officially launched in the Royal Grenz Club in Jeddah, with the participation of a group of golf players from various Gulf countries.
Teams representing the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, where players compete for the title in a competitive atmosphere that reflects the development of golf in the region.
The official opening ceremony of the tournament witnessed the presence of a number of sports personalities and officials in the Saudi Golf Federation and Gulf federations, along with a group of players and fans. The ceremony was distinguished by heritage show performances, in addition to the entry ceremony of the participating teams, where each team raised its country in a festive atmosphere that reflects the spirit of Gulf unity.
In her opening speech, the director of the Saudi Golf Office, His Excellency the Professor Abeer Al -Juhani, stressed the importance of the championship, which coincides with the Kingdom’s celebrations of the Foundation Day, which enhances sports cooperation between the Gulf states,
The tournament includes distinguished players representing the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, where each team participates in a group of the most prominent golf stars in the men and youth categories, under the supervision of a group of coaches and administrators.
Al -Annabi is competing with his distinguished players in the men’s category, and they are Saleh Al -Kaabi, Ali Al -Shahrani, Daniel Sokolov, and Abdul Rahman Al -Shahrani, while the youth category is represented by Camille Ibn Ruqaya, Abdullah Al -Muhannadi, and Rashid Al -Mansouri, under the supervision of the coach Hassan Ibn Ruqaya, headed by the delegation Muhammad al -Muhannadi.
