The “Scope on the Sea” launched by Visit QATAR during the month of June, in Qatar’s busy calendar throughout the year, continues to attract families and visitors of all ages, a summer event held daily on the North Western Gulf beach and will continue until August 13.
The event aims to create a unique family entertainment experience inspired by the summer atmosphere and ice cream flavors, as part of a summer initiative that seeks to enhance domestic tourism and stimulate societal interaction, by providing a variety of activities suitable for all family members, including interactive competitions and live and entertainment shows.
The event includes a busy program, as the Water Festival includes sailboats and panel rides, and the rowing fashion festival. The event also includes unique activities such as Foam Family Party, and the virtual reality experience to simulate Formula 1 cars, where visitors can enter a driving cock that simulates Formula 1 races with virtual reality technology.
As for the Environmental Sports Competition, it allows the participants to compete for fixed bicycles designed to convert kinetic energy into useable energy. The air show also includes a series of smoke and flags shows.
Daily entertainment activities
Daily entertainment programs include carnival games, a air jumping garden, photography corner, and open sports sessions. As for interactive activities, they include pedestrian shows on long sticks, children’s shows, silent acting shows, musical performances, family challenge path, sand castles construction competitions, trips to Savlia Island, and motor exercise competitions using body weight, in addition to volleyball and basketball championships. It also provides visitors with a variety of food and drink options throughout the effectiveness period.
The event takes place from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm during the days of the week, and from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm during the weekends (Friday and Saturday). The entry fee is 35 Qatari riyals for adults on the week, and 50 Qatari riyals on weekends, with free entry for children under the age of 12 and the elderly over 60 years. Tickets can also be purchased through the event site.

The event was received by strong media attention through various social media platforms, as well as in the local, audio and print media, and visitors also shared their experiences through Instagram and Tiktok with daily clips that showed the level of great interaction.
The event also attracted a wide range of audiences: families, youth, the elderly, and water sports enthusiasts, along with seekers of a natural outlet on the Gulf waters in the open air away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The “Scope on the Sea” event also demonstrated its success as one of the most prominent recreational events in Qatar for the year 2025, and was able to mix joy, sports, and interactive innovation, reflecting the development of the local entertainment scene.
