Japanese referee Hiroki Kasahara expressed his great happiness to participate in managing the Ooredoo Stars League matches, within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Qatar Football Association and its Japanese counterpart.
Kasahara said in statements to the Qatar Football Association website today that participating in managing matches in the Ooredoo Stars League adds a lot to his professional career, stressing his keenness to achieve the greatest possible benefit during this experience.
Hiroki Kasahara praised the great interest in Qatari referees through training programs supervised by fitness trainers, as well as the interest in the medical aspect under the supervision of specialist doctors, stressing his keenness to participate in daily training and meetings held periodically for analysis and learning.
He expressed his great astonishment at the wonderful environment in which Qatari referees train, and the availability of all means of success before them, stressing that Qatari refereeing seems like one family, and this is clearly reflected in the exciting cooperation in managing matches.
He considered that the use of the development and analysis platform by match referees using artificial intelligence contributes to raising their level and has a very positive impact on Qatari refereeing.
The Japanese referee had managed the Umm Salal and Al Shahaniya match in the fifth round of the Ooredoo Stars League, which ended with Umm Salal winning by four goals to two.
