Manufacturing Industries Participate in “Contec”.. Al Ansari: Strengthening Partnerships and Alliances between Qatari Companies

Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company is participating in the Modern Construction and Services Technology Exhibition (CONTEC) Expo 2024, with a number of its factories specialized in the field of building materials, namely Amiantit Qatar Pipes and Accessories Company.
Fiber Tie Pipes & Fittings Factory, Qatar Coating Company (Q-COAT), Qatar Paving Stones Factory, and Qatar Saudi Gypsum Manufacturing Company.
Qatar Aluminium Extrusion Company. Qatar Red Bricks Company.
His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, Minister of Municipality, visited the company’s pavilion and was received by Mr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Ansari, CEO of Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company. The opening was also attended by Mr. Aktham Al Baqali, Director of Operations Department, and a number of directors of subsidiary and sister companies. Al Ansari stressed that the exhibition provides a great opportunity to strengthen partnerships, alliances and deals between Qatari companies and raise the quality of the local product, which benefits the private sector and the national economy in general. He added that it also includes most of the existing industries in the local market, which provides an opportunity for investors and industrialists to identify industries that are not available in the Qatari market and explore the possibility of entering them, thus adding new industries to the country, using the latest types of technology.
The transformation aims through its participation to provide modern technologies and solutions in the construction sector, which in turn contributes to driving the wheel of construction productivity by using digital and smart solutions in addition to the possibility of using artificial intelligence, which in turn helps achieve Qatar Vision 2030.
The participation of Al-Tahweeliya comes as this exhibition is the first of its kind, as it contributes to enhancing national capabilities and driving sustainable development, which helps in achieving Qatar Vision 2030. In addition, such exhibitions are a platform for local manufacturers to meet to conclude agreements that will contribute to the development of the construction sector by using the latest types of technology.
The company views its investment activity from the perspective of economic development in its broad sense. Therefore, it seeks to maximize the direct and indirect positive effects of investment on the national economy, represented in deepening the structural ties between the industrial sector and other economic sectors, increasing employment opportunities for national workers, transferring modern production technologies, and contributing positively to the country’s trade balance.
