Maritime activities continue to be suspended until further notice

The Ministry of Transportation confirmed the continued suspension of maritime activities until further notice, in the context of ensuring public safety, and in coordination with the relevant security authorities.
The Ministry explained, in a circular, that the suspension decision includes all users of marine vehicles, including pleasure boats, fishing boats, jet skis, and other similar marine vehicles, stressing the continued cessation of sailing and the practice of marine activities from the date of issuance of the circular until further notice.
The Ministry excluded from the decision ships subject to the provisions of international maritime agreements, which continue their operations in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
The Ministry of Transportation confirmed that this measure comes as a precaution and based on coordination with the relevant security authorities, calling on everyone to fully adhere to what was stated in the circular, and to follow up on any developments announced through official channels in coordination with the relevant authorities.
