Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding Company and the Friends of the Environment Center announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the areas of environmental activities, especially with the youth group. This initiative aims to enhance environmental awareness and contribute to building a sustainable future for the State of Qatar by involving younger generations in projects aimed at protecting and preserving the environment.
Areas of cooperation between the two institutions are scheduled to include launching environmental awareness programs for young people in schools and universities, and organizing training workshops aimed at enabling them to adopt environmentally friendly practices. Afforestation and cleaning campaigns will also be organized, and community projects will be developed aimed at promoting the concept of sustainability and encouraging young people to engage in effective environmental activities.
Mr. Nasser Hamad Al Sulaiti – Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding Company, stated that this initiative reflects the company’s commitment to implementing corporate social responsibility standards. Dlala Holding Company also considers investing in environmental activities an integral part of the company’s strategy to enhance long-term sustainability. In addition, the company seeks to form effective partnerships that contribute to advancing environmental development and enhancing awareness among future generations of the importance of preserving the environment.”
Al-Sulaiti added that Dlala Holding Company believes in the importance of integrating the private sector into national efforts to achieve environmental sustainability. Through this partnership with the Friends of the Environment Centre, the company looks forward to motivating young people to be part of sustainable environmental solutions, in line with the goals of Qatar Vision 2030, which focuses on both human and environmental development.
For his part, Mr. Farhoud Hadi Al-Hajri – Executive Director of the Friends of the Environment Center, stated that the cooperation between the Friends of the Environment Center and Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding Company is an important step towards empowering young people in Qatar to become leaders in the field of environmental work. With this agreement with Dlala Holding Company, the Friends of the Environment Center aims to implement programs and initiatives that focus on environmental awareness, encourage effective participation that contributes to achieving environmental sustainability, and direct attention to the environmental challenges facing us all.

This memorandum of understanding comes within a series of efforts and initiatives that aim to unify efforts between the private sector and environmental organizations to achieve sustainable development goals in Qatar.
