Meshaal Al-Nasr, President of the Archery and Archery Federation

The General Assembly of the Qatar Archery and Archery Federation re-elected Dr. Meshaal Ibrahim Al-Nasr as President of the Federation by acclamation for the new session 2024-2028.
This came during the ordinary general assembly meeting held yesterday at the federation’s headquarters, after a quorum was reached and in the presence of all members and a representative of the Qatar Olympic Committee.
The General Assembly also elected Mr. Jassim Shaheen Al Sulaiti as Secretary General of the Federation, Ahmed Yahya Al Nuaimi as Assistant Secretary General of the Federation, and Abdullah Ali Al Mutawa Al Hammadi and Humaid Nasser Al Nuaimi as members of the Federation. The members of the General Assembly approved the minutes of the previous meeting.
Dr. Meshaal Ibrahim Al-Nasr, in his speech during the General Assembly meeting, expressed his happiness with the confidence he received and the members of the new Board of Directors to carry out their duties during the next four years, looking forward to achieving more successes for Qatari shooting in the new session.
The President of the Federation thanked His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, for his continued support in the period preceding the sport of shooting. He said: “We look forward to continuing in the same vein in the new period and achieving more results and achievements, and we thank the former members of the Union.” He indicated that harmony between the members of the Board of Directors and the heads of the committees is considered very important. He said: “We agree on the same principles and strategy with which we will manage the Union and we strive to Through it to develop the players’ performance.”
While Jassim Shaheen Al-Sulaiti expressed his happiness at being elected Secretary-General of the Federation for the new session 2024-2028.
He said that the past period of the Union witnessed the achievement of many continental, international and global achievements.
