Modern Home, the leading distributor of technology solutions in Qatar, and Sony Middle East & Africa, the leading consumer electronics brand, have announced the launch of the ZV-E10 II, the second generation of the ZV-E10 camera in Qatar.
The new ZV-E10 II will be available from August 15 at Modern Home store in Al Maha Center on Salwa Road, FNAC stores in Lagoona Mall, Doha Festival City, Place Vendome, sonyworld.qa, fnac.qa and the FNAC Qatar app. It will also be available at Virgin Megastore and other major electronics retailers for just QAR 4,099.
The original ZV-E10 is an APS-C camera and part of Sony’s ZV series of content creation cameras, designed to be an easy-to-use, compact, and versatile tool for content creators of all levels. The new ZV-E10 II retains all the features that content creators loved about the original camera—such as the creative look, product display setting, background blur feature, and vari-angle touchscreen—and builds on them to further enhance sophistication and ease of use.
The ZV-E10 II’s internals have also been improved over its predecessor with an Exmor R™ CMOS sensor upgraded to 26MP (effective) and Sony’s latest BIONZ XR™ image processing engine. Additional updates to this model include improvements to autofocus and video capabilities: Cinematic Vlog Setting, a new vertical format user interface (UI), Sony’s upgraded Z Battery with a large capacity for improved battery life, and connectivity improvements for easier live streaming and data transfer. It’s also a compact and lightweight camera that fits comfortably in the hand of a content creator, weighing approximately 377g.
Additionally, Sony is announcing the E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II (model SELP16502), a compact APS-C powered zoom lens that will be available separately or as part of the ZV-E10 II kit lens. The improved lens in the kit is lighter in weight and offers improved AF and video recording performance compared to the first generation.

The ZV-E10 II features two key functions designed to produce premium-looking content straight out of the camera: Creative Looks and Cinematic Vlog Setting. When shooting video and still images, users can instantly enhance their images by choosing from ten Creative Look options: Standard (ST), Portrait (PT), Neutral (NT), Vivid (VV), Vivid 2 (VV2), Film (FL), Instant (IN), Soft Highkey (SH), Black & White (BW), and Sepia (SE). Each of these styles is further customizable and can be edited through eight different factors, allowing creators to enhance their content. Once customized, creators can save six personalized custom styles directly in the camera for easy reuse.
The camera allows content creators to produce premium, cinematic video content with a single touch using the Cinematic Vlog Setting feature. This feature automatically adjusts the aspect ratio, frame rate, and AF transition speed to the optimal settings for cinematic video shooting. Additionally, content creators can enhance their footage by choosing from five Looks such as S-Cinetone™, which enhances skin tones, and applying one of the Moods, which focuses on specific colors, offering a wide range of options to maximize creative expression.
