The American company OpenAI, which specializes in developing artificial intelligence technologies, announced the launch of a new feature called “ChatGPT Slides,” which allows users to create, edit, and share presentations directly within the “ChatGPT Space” workspace, without the need to use separate programs.

The company explained that the new feature allows the creation of presentations based on a text conversation, a document, or a simple chart, in addition to the possibility of uploading files, documents, and textual information, and converting them into integrated presentations using a single command, which contributes to facilitating the preparation of presentations and reducing time and effort.

ChatGPT Slides provides tools to modify the design and content of presentations, including regenerating entire slides, resizing shapes, updating charts and data, as well as the ability to directly edit text, replace images, and add new visual elements.

The feature also allows users to collaborate on preparing presentations, by sharing their links with others, adding comments and making modifications directly, with the ability to export files to “Microsoft PowerPoint”, “Google Slides” and “PDF” formats, to continue working on them using other tools.

The company indicated that the feature has become available to subscribers of the “ChatGPT Plus” packages, and its availability will expand later to subscribers of the “Pro,” “Business,” and “Enterprise” packages via web and desktop applications, while its use requires a paid subscription at the present time.

This step comes as part of OpenAI’s efforts to expand the capabilities of the ChatGPT platform in the field of productivity and institutional work, by providing tools based on artificial intelligence to create, edit, and collaborate on content within a unified workspace.
