Dutch swimmer Sharon van Rouwendaal won the gold medal in the women’s 10km open water marathon today, as part of the competitions of the 33rd Summer Olympic Games /Paris 2024/.
Van Rouwendaal completed the race in 2 hours, 3 minutes and 34.2 seconds, while Australian Moesha Johnson won the silver medal in 2 hours, 3 minutes and 39.7 seconds, and Italian Ginevra Tadeucci won the bronze medal in 2 hours, 3 minutes and 42.8 seconds.
Van Rouwendaal won the gold medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics and the silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
