France retained the gold medal in the men’s volleyball competition, after defeating Poland today, in three sets without a response, in the final that brought them together, at the “Arena Paris Sud” stadium, within the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

France won the match in three sets with scores of 25-19, 25-20, and 25-23, becoming the third country to win Olympic gold twice in a row after the Soviet Union (1964-1968) and the United States (1984-1988).

The French team finished second in its group, before winning in the quarter-finals against Germany in three sets to two, then beating Italy in the semi-finals in three sets to none.

The Polish team settled for the silver medal, after having previously won the gold medal in 1976.

The United States team won the bronze medal, after defeating Italy earlier today in three sets to none.
