Polish Magdalena Fritsch qualified for the final of the Guadalajara Mexican Open tennis tournament, after defeating Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia in two sets to none.
In the semi-finals, Fritsch, ranked fifth, defeated Garcia, ranked fourth, 7/6 and 7/5, in a strong match that lasted two hours and six minutes.
In the final, Fritsch will face Australian Olivia Gadecki, who defeated Colombian Camila Osorio in two sets (6/2 and 6/3).
Greek Maria Sakkari won the Guadalajara Tennis Championship title last year, after defeating American Caroline Dolehide in two consecutive sets (7/5 and 6/3).
