Qatar Airways, the World’s Best Airline according to Skytrax 2024, has announced that it will expand its Amsterdam network by increasing the number of flights from 10 to 14 per week, effective from 12 November 2024 to 29 March 2025.
With Qatar Airways’ 14 weekly flights to Amsterdam, more than 40,000 additional passengers will be able to travel between Amsterdam and Doha via Qatar Airways’ award-winning home and hub, Hamad International Airport.
Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, said: “Qatar Airways is delighted to see the growing demand for travel to Amsterdam and to cater to the travel market in the Dutch capital, which is a key part of our European network. We look forward to offering our world-class service and product to passengers from Amsterdam who are looking to explore the world across Qatar Airways’ expanding network of more than 170 destinations.”
By increasing its flights to and from the Dutch capital, Qatar Airways will offer passengers more opportunities to soak up the sun in a range of top global destinations including Bali (Denpasar), Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City. In turn, Amsterdam, also known as the historic city of canals, is a leading tourist destination for travellers from Asia and Australia.
In addition, Qatar Airways Privilege Club members can earn Avios on their flights, as well as enjoy special discounts when paying for tickets using Avios + Cash, or using Avios Max to pay for the entire ticket with Avios. Passengers can also use Avios points at Qatar Duty Free stores at Hamad International Airport, or when purchasing travel packages offered by Qatar Airways Holidays, among many other benefits.
