Qatar’s archers won advanced centers in the Arab Police Shooting Championship for men and women, which were hosted by Tunisia, under the supervision of the Arab Police Federation and the Tunisian Sports Federation for Police and Reform.
The Qatari team for men came second and the women’s team third in the overall ranking of the tournament, in which 12 teams participated with 59 Ram and Ramy.
On the sidelines of the tournament, the meeting of the executive office and the meeting of the General Assembly of the Arab Union of Police, headed by Major General Khalid bin Hamad Al -Attiyah, President of the Arab and Qatari Sports Federations for the Police.
In the men’s competitions, the Qatari team came second in the overall ranking of the tournament with the teams’ competitions with 998 points, by Captain Jabr Mohamed Al -Nuaimi, First Lieutenant Abdullah Al Mahmoud, and First Lieutenant Ali Jaber Al -Mansoori, and the Tunisian team came in first place with a total of 1002 points , While the Saudi national team won the third place with 979 at the level of the teams.
In the individual competitions, first lieutenant Ali Jaber Al -Mansouri finished second with 343 points, only 12 points behind the Algerian, the first place, with the first place with 355 points, while the Tunisian Ahmed Al -Huwaimli came third with 338 points.
As for the women’s competitions, the Qatari team ranked third with a total of 791 points, while the Algerian national team topped the standings with 988 points, and the Sultanate of Oman came second with 921 points, and Tunisia and Bahrain ranked fourth and fifth in a row.
In the individual competitions, the Algerian Raqaya Boujemaa won first place with a total of 346 points, and her citizen Samiha Al -Mihoub finished again with 345 points, and Omani Hanan Bint Suleiman Al -Sulaymaniyah with 315 points, while the Tunisian Ramitan Al -Shani and Qatar Dalal Khalifa completed the fourth and fifth places.
The Qatari women’s team will be among the players (captain) Rawda Khalfan Al -Rudaini, First Lieutenant Dalal Khalifa Muhammad, and the first officer of Maryam Salem Al -Yarbari, under the supervision of the trainer, the first Noura Al -Ali.
While the men’s team is among 6 players, they are: the captain of Jabr Muhammad Al -Nuaimi, the captain of Abdul Rahman Al -Jadid, the captain of Muhammad Abdullah Al -Obaidli, the first lieutenant Hamad Saeed Al -Nuaimi, first lieutenant Abdullah Al Mahmoud and first lieutenant Ali Jaber Al -Mansoori, and the delegation headed the Captain of Khaled Muhammad Kahura.
The tournament witnessed the participation of 10 referees from various participating Arab sports federations.
