His Excellency said: “We support these constitutional amendments, and we will be at the front of the ranks on the day of the referendum to vote ‘yes’. The President of the Qatar Chamber expected a consensus among Qatari citizens to support the amendments to the country’s permanent constitution signed by His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, after they were approved by the Shura Council. His Excellency expected broad participation in the referendum scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, God willing.

His Excellency pointed to His Highness the Emir’s keenness on the unity of the people and equal citizenship, and on strengthening the rule of law, the values ​​of justice, and equality of rights and duties among members of the Qatari people.

He added: “The call for a referendum on these amendments reflects the keenness of our wise leadership to enhance the participation of the people of Qatar in steps that enhance the future of the country, sustain growth and cohesion of the Qatari people, and strengthen our national unity, which is the source of our strength in facing challenges.”

His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani pointed out that the directives of our wise leadership are always in the interest of citizens and move the country towards growth and development, stressing the great positive interaction between the Qatari people with the call for a referendum on constitutional amendments, because they open new horizons for cohesion, interconnectedness and cohesion. His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani stressed that providing more investment incentives and enhancing the business environment will encourage the private sector and pump new investments, especially in projects in vital sectors, especially industrial sectors, attract foreign investments and establish partnerships that contribute to the transfer of technology and advanced industries to our country. , which will enhance economic growth and increase private sector exports to foreign markets.

His Excellency the President of the Qatar Chamber pointed to the expansion of the petrochemical industry, becoming a center for re-exporting high-value products, interest in tourism to make Qatar the preferred tourist destination in the region, developing the digital economy, interest in artificial intelligence, promoting Qatar as a center for higher education, and increasing private sector participation in vital sectors and projects. The country will enhance the success of the strategy of diversifying the economy and building a knowledge-based economy.

His Excellency praised the steps Qatar is taking in the process of optimal exploitation of our natural wealth and the completion of expansion projects in natural gas production to raise production from 77 million tons annually at the present time to 126 million tons by 2027, and to reach 142 million tons annually before the end of the current decade. Which will support state revenues and achieve a new qualitative shift in the national economy, in light of the implementation of the third national development strategy (2024-2030).
