Mr. Abdulaziz Al -Kuwari, Director of the Chamber of Legal Affairs, said during a discussion episode organized by the Federation of Gulf Chambers, that protecting the interests of the private sector from electronic financial fraud issues requires joint efforts from all parties concerned, in order to enhance electronic financial security and achieve economic stability in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the countries Arab Gulf.
He noted the importance of cooperation between the Chamber and the private sector to enhance protection from electronic financial fraud, as companies must take the necessary measures for self -protection, such as using strong passwords, modernizing programs and using antivirus programs, as well as enhancing legislation and regulations to enhance the protection of the private sector from electronic financial fraud, And enhance international cooperation to combat electronic financial fraud.
The discussion episode, which was held within the activities of the first Gulf week of the law and arbitration held in Bahrain and organized by the Commercial Arbitration Center for the Cooperation Council countries for the Arab States of the Gulf, aimed to raise the level of legal awareness of the private sector with financial and electronic fraud issues and ways to address them.
