The Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the National Bank signed the strategic sponsorship agreement for the “Qatar Summit for Trade and Treasury 2025”, which is organized by the Qatar Chamber in cooperation with the International Chamber of Commerce – Qatar, under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani, Minister of Trade and Industry, on May 7 at the Intercontinental Doha Hotel.
The summit aims to enhance innovation and digital transformation in the fields of commercial financing and treasury, as well as highlighting modern methods of payment. The summit will bring together a group of experts and speakers from the countries of the Cooperation Council and abroad, to discuss the latest trends in the banking and commercial sector.
Mr. Ali Bouchabak Al -Mansouri, Director General of the Qatar Chamber in charge, stressed that strategic care reflects the commitment of the two parties to develop the financial sector and adopt the latest smart digital solutions, because of its impact on the various economic sectors.
For his part, Mr. Hassan Ahmed Al -Afranji, CEO of the National Bank, expressed his pride in the bank’s participation in this prominent event and the international forum held for the first time in the State of Qatar, which is a milestone in the financial scene and reflects the state’s efforts in advancing the digital transformation, indicating that these activities fall within the interests of the National Bank and its endeavors towards enhancing the concepts of digital culture and entrepreneurship through innovation in providing digital services Comprehensive and integrated with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency and providing an exceptional experience for customers in line with the bank’s vision in achieving excellence in customer service through a wide range of banking services for individuals and companies, in addition to investment, treasury and financial mediation services, through the network of its branches and its automatic exchanges spread throughout the country.
